CEMIST is dedicated to providing educational materials and events to the general public and our partners. Our focus is on organizing public events for all ages, as well as K-12 school children’s events. We believe that education is the key to invasive species prevention and management, and we are committed to making it accessible to everyone.

CEMIST is committed to educating individuals on Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Early Detection and monitoring in partnership with the MT FWP AIS Bureau. The workshops include classroom and field portions that will help individuals identify AIS and report potential AIS. With more eyes on the landscape, we can prevent and manage invasive species more effectively.
