Bio:
Allison obtained a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University in Natural Resources and Range Science. After school she spent several summers working for the Bureau of Land Management in Utah and Dillon, MT expanding her experience in rangeland management, water quality and watershed function. She then moved to Circle, MT working for the Natural Resources Conservation Service as a Rangeland Management Specialist. After a few years in McCone County, she transferred to Big Timber broadening her scope of work within a new landscape. “The best part about this field of work is the opportunity to collaborate with great farmers, ranchers and all entities with like-minded goals of sustaining the resources on these ever important agricultural lands and operations.” While taking the last couple years “off” to raise her two girls, she has been active as an independent consultant in Natural Resources and Range Management and monitoring conservation easements in the Centennial and Big Hole valleys. Allison is the coordinator for the Musselshell Watershed Coalition working to sustain watershed health for 340 miles of the Musselshell River from Two dot to Fort Peck dam. Allison was also the President for the Society for Range Management-International Mountain Section for the last 2 years and is a current board member on the Park County Weed Board. In her free time, you can find Allison riding her mules in the mountains, spending time with her family outdoors, skiing and gardening.
